I have had surgery (left temple) but still have aura from time to time. So I’m still on two different antiepileptic drugs.
See lessI have been on several different antiepileptic drugs in the past, but I recently decided to stop taking one that I have been taking for more than 19 years. Take it, I haven’t seen a therapist in ten years.
Some tips:
make sure you don’t skip any doses (use a pill dispenser).
And don’t self-medicate. Ask your specialist about a schedule for tapering/initiating medication.
