      I have had surgery (left temple) but still have aura from time to time. So I’m still on two different antiepileptic drugs.
      I have been on several different antiepileptic drugs in the past, but I recently decided to stop taking one that I have been taking for more than 19 years. Take it, I haven’t seen a therapist in ten years.
      Some tips:
      make sure you don’t skip any doses (use a pill dispenser).
      And don’t self-medicate. Ask your specialist about a schedule for tapering/initiating medication.
